YouthHope ministers to more than 500 low-income kids and teens each week through youth programs at our Moline and Rock Island Youth Centers. Volunteers are needed to help with everything! This might include driving kids to and from activities, leading teen Bible studies, or coaching kids playing basketball.

Tutoring – Share your knowledge and help students who may or may not receive homework help at home. Tutors are needed for students of all ages after school.
Mentor – Help with our mentoring programs for youth by leading a group of eight students or less in a Bible study each week. Small groups are separated by gender.
Driver – YouthHope brings children and teens to and from our after school club activities, evening events and other youth programs. Drivers are always needed.

Help at a weekly event – YouthHope runs more than a dozen weekly Christian youth outreach programs for low-income kids and teens. We need volunteers to help keep this vital ministry going. Click here to learn more about our weekly activities and how you can help.
Boys or Girls Day – Special Saturdays are planned just for either grade school boys or girls each month. These days are filled with fun activities designed with them in mind. Volunteers are needed to help plan activities and run these popular events for the kids.
Teen Bible study – YouthHope offers Bible studies twice a week to teens. The groups are separated by gender and offered at both the Rock Island and Moline Youth Centers.
Evening Children’s Clubs and after School Activities – YouthHope runs more than a dozen weekly after school club activities and Evening Childen's Clubs for low-income kids and teens. Volunteers are needed to help keep these youth programs going. Click here to learn more about our weekly activities and how you can help.
Coach – Both the Rock Island and Moline Youth Centers have gyms where kids and teens can play basketball and volleyball. Coaches are needed to lead teams to play against each other and in area leagues.
Help with snacks – Snacks are an important part at our after school club activities. Volunteers are needed to help provide them. Drop them off ahead of time or spend time with the kids and serve the snacks, both are greatly needed and appreciated!
Help with teen night – Saturday nights are for teens at our Rock Island and Moline Youth Centers. The centers provide a safe place for teens when their own neighborhoods might be dangerous and unhealthy. This is a great opportunity for volunteers to get involved with youth and make a difference!
YouthHope cannot empower youth through programs for youth, after school activities, tutoring and youth camps without the help of volunteers. If you are excited about the mission of YouthHope, there are many opportunities for you to volunteer!
